Essex Rescue, Inc., is a private, not for profit, emergency ambulance service licensed at the paramedic level, located in Essex Junction, Vermont. On an annual basis, Essex Rescue responds to more than 3,400+ requests for service. Since 1971, our department has served the communities of Essex, Jericho, Underhill, and Westford, as well as providing paramedic intercept services to many Vermont communities. For the last 50+ years, Essex Rescue has been committed to delivering high quality prehospital emergency medical care.

Clinical - EMT / AEMT / Paramedic Providers (ACTIVELY HIRING)

- Position: Crew Chief - EMT / AEMT / Paramedic
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Full-time - is 36 hours/week with flexibility to regularly work 40 hours/week
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Current, unrestricted vehicle operator's license
- Current and unrestricted NREMT EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic license
- NIMS 100, 200, 700
- Valid CPR certification
- EVOC or satisfactory completion of equivalent formal emergency vehicle operators training program
Specific Position Requirements:
- Clinical Leadership Experience:
1- year minimum β Provider must have experience operating regularly (weekly) as an independent crew chief or patient care lead in an EMS setting. - Ambulance Operator Experience:
1- year minimum β Provider must have independent regular experience operating emergency vehicles while always demonstrating safe operation and is without violations
Part-Time Position Requirements:
- Must be an ALS Provider with moderate experience
- Currently a VT licensed advanced level EMS provider
- Meet all organization training requirements.
- Run a minimum of (4) 12- hour shifts per month.
